Women's Lacrosse Earns Overtime Win, 11-10, Versus Marywood

CENTER VALLEY, PA (Feb. 18, 2026) -- Senior Christina DiGuglielmo scored in overtime helping the DeSales University women's lacrosse team erase a five-goal second-half deficit in an 11-10 overtime win over Marywood University on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

  • DeSales struck first in the game, with a goal from senior attack Bridey Lawler, assisted by Hailey Linebaugh, 30 seconds into the game.

  • By the end of the third, DeSales was able to cut the lead Marywood had on them to 9-7.

  • After Marywood regained a three goal lead to start the fourth, the Bulldogs defense held the Pacers at bay allowing DSU to finish the game with three straight markers tying the score at 10 on a goal from senior Lawler with 1:50 left.

  • Heading into overtime, the Pacers had possession of the ball, but after a caused turnover by first-year Emily Mulroony she found a streaking DiGuglielmo in front of the goal late in the shot clock and DiGuglielmo found the back of the net for the game-winner.
