Port Charlotte, FL (March 10, 2026) - The DeSales University baseball team fell behind early and was unable to recover falling to Baldwin-Wallace College in the first game of its spring trip to Florida.
BW scored three times in both the first and second inning but the Bulldogs got two in the first and one in the second, without recording a hit, to trail by three (6-3).
DSU got within two (6-4) in the sixth inning on the Bulldogs first hit of the game, an RBI double from first-yearÂ
Alex Bersani, but BW scored four times in the seventh and twice each in the eighth and ninth to pull away late for a 14-4 win.

DeSales is back at it tomorrow taking on Mount Union at 2:00 pm.
