Women's Lacrosse Defeats Lebanon Valley College For The First Time in Team History

ANNVILLE, PA (April 1, 2026) -- The DeSales University women's lacrosse team downed the Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen, 10-6, on Wednesday evening. This is the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Flying Dutchmen, adding this win to their conference record.  

The Basics  

  • Final Score: DeSales – 10, Lebanon Valley College – 6  

  • Records: DeSales (7-4 overall, 1-0 MAC Freedom), Lebanon Valley College (6-5 overall, 0-1 MAC Freedom) 

  • DeSales and Lebanon Valley have met three times, twice in 2025. Tonight marks the first time the Bulldogs have been able to down their conference opponent.  

How it Happened 

  • Both teams started the first half going back and forth, senior Bridey Lawler was the first to strike for DeSales, scoring their first and second goals both assisted by first-year Emily Mulroony.  

  • Senior Christina DiGuglielmo added another to the board, giving the 3-2 leg up heading into the second quarter.  

  • The Flying Dutchmen went up by one at the beginning of the second, and DeSales responded quickly with goals from Mulroony, Hailey Linebaugh and Emma Williamson, giving the Bulldogs a two-goal lead ending the second period. 

  • Coming out of the half, Bulldog seniors Lawler, Linebaugh and Danielle Sieja all added to the total, while defense was able to hold Lebanon Valley all quarter, finishing the third, 9-4.  

  • In the fourth, Lawler added another, assisted by Mulroony, giving the Bulldogs a four-goal lead, ending the game 10-6.  

Top Bulldog Performers  

  • Mulroony led the team with five points from one goal and four assists, she also contributed one ground ball and one draw control.  

  • Lawler finished the evening leading the team in goals with four and contributing two ground balls.  

  • Senior defender, Williamson led the team in cause turnovers and ground balls with two and four respectively, she also added a goal to the evening.  

  • Sophomore Cami Beetel had a strong defensive presence contributing three ground balls and two cause turnovers.  

  • First-year goalkeeper Larkin Trainor finished the evening with a 0.666 save percentage, with nine saves.  

For the Foes  

  • Katie DeWitt ended the evening with three goals, one coming from a free-position shot and two ground balls.  

  • Gigi Ditsky led the team in ground balls with four.  

Inside the Box Score  

  • DeSales was extremely successful on the clear going 23-for-24. 

  • The Bulldogs took the slim majority 17-16 on ground balls and went 9-8 on the draw control.

  • DeSales University women's lacrosse will meet with King's College (Pa.) on Wednesday, April 8, for their second conference match up of the season.
