Center Valley, PA (April 24, 2026) - The DeSales University baseball clinched the #1 seed in the MAC Freedom postseason with an 11-1 win over Lebanon Valley College in the first of three games this weekend.
The Bulldogs clinch the top seed for the first time since the 2018 season and will host a semifinal series next weekend. DSU awaits its opponent as the regular season wraps up this weekend.

Kevin Brace had an RBI double and juniorÂ
Jack Sague had an RBI single.
LVC cut the lead down to 2-1 in the fourth before a solo home run from sophomoreÂ
Jacob Rivera made it 3-1 in the bottom of the inning.

Dominic Berretta had an RBI triple and juniorÂ
Owen Yoder an RBI single in the sixth and graduate studentÂ
Owen Fischl a solo home run in the seventh to make it a 6-1 game.
The Bulldogs added five more runs in the eighth to post the final tally.

Mike Hooker earned the win, his seventh this season, pitching seven strong innings allowing one run and six hits, striking out five.

Games two and three are scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Lebanon Valley.
