Softball Season Ends with Two Tight Losses to Lebanon Valley on Senior Day

Center Valley, PA (April 26, 2026) - The DeSales University softball team saw its 2026 season end with two tight losses to Lebanon Valley College on senior day Sunday afternoon.

Game One (L/1-4)
DeSales took a 1-0 lead in the third inning on an RBI single from sophomore Gianna Angermeier scoring senior Amy Wood.

LVC countered with four runs in the fifth to take a 4-1 lead and the Bulldogs were unable to push across anymore runs.

Wood had two of DSU's three hits in the game. Senior Riley Long suffered the loss allowing nine hits and four runs over seven innings.

Game Two (L/0-1)
This game was scoreless into the seventh inning when LVC pushed across a run on a bunt single and DSU was unable to get on the board.

The Bulldogs had just two hits in the game and sophomore Ava DiDonato took the loss despite pitching well allowing just one run over seven innings, striking out three.
