CENTER VALLEY, PA (April 29, 2026) -- The DeSales University men's lacrosse team fell to the Arcadia University Knights, 16-9, in the MAC Freedom semi-finals on Wednesday evening.

Arcadia was the first on the board in the first period, goalkeeper AJ Ardizone, stayed strong the entire first, only allowing three goals the entire period, ending the first 3-0.

DeSales got on the board early in the second, with a goal from Matt Baselice and an assist Patch Day, ending the period, 11-1.

The Bulldogs came out of the half strong, with a goal from Jake Hurd, assisted by Seth Young just two minutes into the period. Ten seconds after te first goal of the period, Colin Getz scored another for the Bulldogs assisted by senior Taylor Wikert.

The Bulldogs then went on a four goal scoring streak, cutting into the Knights lead, with goals from, TJ Kearns, Day, and two from Hurd.

The Bulldogs last goal of the evening was scored with four minutes left in the game, scored by Blake Finnegan, assisted by Kearns, ending the game 16-9.
