Atlanta, GA (July 21, 2026) - The DeSales University women's basketball team was honored by the WBCA last week announcing its 2025-26 Academic Top 25 Honor Roll.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-26 season is the 31st in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.

The Bulldogs accumulated a team GPA of 3.364 this past season which was listed under "Special Mentions" by the WBCA and just shy of being in the Top 25 of all NCAA Division III Institutions.

"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew.  "The 119 ranked teams we honor this year across all five collegiate membership divisions strive to achieve all-around success and we commend their efforts.
