Bethlehem, PA (September 1, 2026) - The DeSales University volleyball team swept past local rival Moravian University, 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-19), in the 2026 season opener for both teams.
It is the Bulldogs second straight win over the Greyhounds as DSU nearly evens the all-time series record at 25-26 all-time vs. Moravian. DSU has won nine of the last 11 meetings.
DSU opened the match scoring the first six points and hit .382 in the first set to earn an easy 25-14 win. The Bulldogs trailed 10-8 mid-way thru the second set before going on a big run to take the second set 25-18 and cruised from the start in the third to close out the match.

Allison Reimer led the attack with nine kills, hitting .316. JuniorÂ

Jocelyn Castro each had seven kills and sophomoreÂ
Samantha Buff added five kills.

Bryanna Purisima had 11 assists and juniorÂ
Ashlyn Dinan finished with 10 assists. JuniorsÂ
Kylie Campbell andÂ
Grace Pfaff led the defense with 15 and nine digs respectively, while Campbell had a team-best four service aces.
DSU is back in action this weekend when they host its home Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
