CENTER VALLEY, PA (Sept. 23, 2026) -- The DeSales University women's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Immaculata University Mighty Macs on Wednesday evening in non-conference action.  

The Basics 

• Final Score – DeSales University: 0, Immaculata University: 2 

• Records – DeSales: 1-4-2, Immaculata: 5-2 

This was the ninth meeting between the Bulldogs and the Mighty Macs, with the first competition taking place in 2008. The Bulldogs have are 6-3-1 against the Mighty Macs.  

How it Happened 

The first half of play remained scoreless, as the Bulldogs had a strong defensive presence and did not allow the Mighty Macs to find the back of the net. 63 minutes into play, Immaculata found upper right corner of the net, to bring the score 1-0. DeSales continued to play strong on both sides of the ball, but could not tap one in. The last goal of the match up came with just ten minutes left, off of a Mighty Mac penalty kick, ending the game 2-0.  

Top Bulldog Performers  

• Junior goalkeeper, Campbell Pacheco, ended the evening with three saves in the first half, for the Bulldogs.  

• First-year Tallia Hill led the team in shots (3) and ended the evening with one shot on goal.  

For the Foes  

• Gracie Repici and Flora Hernandez both had the goals for the Mighty Macs.  

Inside the Box Score  

• DeSales took the 12-9 shot majority on the evening, the Bulldogs and the Mighty Macs both ended the evening with 6 shots on goal.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday afternoon as they take on Stockton University in a homecoming double header.
