CENTER VALLEY, PA (Sept. 26, 2026) -- The DeSales University men's soccer team fell to the Salisbury University Seagulls 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference play.
The Basics
How it Happened
The Bulldogs and Seagull both had a solid game on both sides of the ball. DeSales was able to keep the Seagulls out of the back of the net for a majority of the game. In the last three minutes of the game, Salisbury took advantage of a corner kick and Tanner Calzado found the back of the net, to end the game 1-0.
Top Bulldog Performers
First-year midfielder Abu Barrie ended the game leading the Bulldogs in both shots (6) and shots on goal (4). Defender Nik Rohm, Peter Cardinale, and Isaac Bustamante all played a strong 90 minutes for the Bulldogs.
For the Foes
Goalkeeper Clif Nehman, ended the afternoon with 7 saves for the Seagulls. Forward David Brunetti led the team in shots (5) and shots on goal (1).
