Scranton, PA (September 29, 2026) - The DeSales University volleyball team dropped its first MAC Freedom match of the season falling at Marywood University, 3-1, on Tuesday evening.
The Bulldogs dropped the first set before tying the match at one set each with a 25-20 win in the second set. DSU hit just .067 and .000 in the third and fourth sets and were unable to rally late in the fourth set to drop the match in four sets.

Allison Reimer had 13 kills to lead the attack. SophomoreÂ
Alexis Hoyer added eight kills, hitting .240 and sophomoreÂ
Haylee Arnold added seven kills, hitting .312.

Jocelyn Castro had three blocks and sophomoreÂ
Samantha Buff finished with five blocks. JuniorÂ
Kylie Campbell had 24 digs in the loss.

Ashlyn Dinan recorded a double-double with 17 assists and 10 digs and seniorÂ
Bryanna Purisima added 18 digs.
The Bulldogs are right back to action on Thursday traveling to Dickinson College for a non-conference match beginning at 7:00 pm.
