Entering the ’13 Season:  Gmeiner enters his senior season ranked 12th all-time in ground balls (137), fourth all-time in face-off’s won (293) and second in face-off percentage (.633).

2012:  Played and started in all 15 games…totaled two goals and two assists for four points…named to All-Freedom Conference Second-Team…set a single-season record winning 67.0 percent of face-offs (175-for-261)…ranked second on the team with 87 ground balls…won season-high 18 face-offs in season opening win over Immaculata…won 16-of-19 face-offs in loss to Misericordia…picked up a season-high 12 ground balls in win over SUNY-Cobleskill…won nine or more face-offs in all but two games.

2011:  Appeared in 11 games, making 10 starts…totaled one goal and one assist for two points…led team with 105 face-off wins and a .583 face-off percentage…ranked third on the team with 53 ground balls…won double digit face-offs in eight of 11 games including a season-best 10-of-14 vs. Virginia Wesleyan and Lebanon Valley College…picked up double digit ground balls twice.

2010:  Appeared in nine games off the bench…picked up seven ground balls and was 13-of-22 (.591) in face-off attempts…had a season-high four ground balls and won 7-of-9 face-offs in a win over Alvernia University.

Personal/High School:  Son of Kathy Troxell and Ambrose Gmeiner…participated in lacrosse, football, and basketball in high school…named First-Team All-County and All-Conference…member of Dean’s List…won 2011 DeSales Ethics Bowl Grand Champion…double major in management and marketing.
