Biography

DeSales:

Returns to the team as the probable starter at the point guard spot...tremendous leader on the court with excellent court sense...very competitive player...excellent ball-handler and a brilliant passer in both the open floor and half-court offense...very good at creating shots for other players...good shooter with three-point range...excellent basketball instincts and a clutch performer...enters season as the all-time leader in assists with 495...needs 146 assists to become the all-time assist leader at DeSales (men and women)...also ranked 10th all-time with 134 steals.

2006-07: Played and started all 30 games...set a school-record with 227 assists (7.6 APG), which led the Freedom Conference...averaged 6.4 points and 1.7 steals per game...had an amazing 2.6/1 assist-to-turnover ratio...named to Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Association Team of the Month (February)...named to Casa Mia Holiday Tournament All-Tournament Team...totaled double digit points five times including a 16-point effort in a win over Wilkes University and 15 points in a win over Lebanon Valley College...dished out a career-high 12 assists in a win over King’s College and had double digit assists five times.

2005-06: One of just three players to start all 26 games...ranked third on the team in scoring (8.4 PPG) and led the team with 154 assists (5.9 APG)...also led the team with 48 steals...fell just 17 assists shy of tying the single-season record...totaled double digit points in 13 games and recorded one double-double with 10 points and 11 assists in a win over Moravian College...dished out a career-high 12 assists in a win over Drew University and scored a career-high 16 points in a win over FDU-Florham.

2004-05: Appeared in all 28 games off the bench...averaged 19.9 minutes per game and 5.2 points per game...ranked second on the team with 114 assists (4.1 APG)...shot 37.8 percent from three-point land (14-of-37) and ranked third on the team with 34 steals...scored a season-high nine points in both Freedom Conference playoff games...dished out a season-high 10 assists in the win over Goucher College.

Personal & High School: Born March 5, 1986...participated in basketball, football and lacrosse in high school...named The Morning Call Male Athlete of the Year as a senior...1,000-yard rusher senior year in football...left Parkland as all-time leader in assists...led basketball team to AAAA state final game senior year...named Morning Call All-Area twice and to the All-State Third-Team as a senior...high school coach was Rich Fatzinger...business management major.
