Entering the ’09 Season: Mellon enters her junior season ranked fifth all-time with 1,007 kills, second all-time in kills per game (3.30), third all-time in attack attempts (2,888), and ninth all-time in hitting percentage (.240).

2008: Appeared in 26-of-33 matches…ranked fourth on the team with 214 kills and fourth on the team with 31 total blocks…recorded double-digit kills in eight of 26 matches…had a season-high 17 kills in a loss to Widener University to open the season…named to ASICS/Johns Hopkins University All-Tournament Team.

2007: Appeared in all 31 matches…named to All-Freedom Conference First-Team…led team with 347 kills and ranked second with a .224 hitting percentage…totaled double digit kills in 22 matches and had a season-high 18 kills twice, wins over Cabrini and Philadelphia Biblical…recorded two double-doubles.

2006: Appeared in all 31 matches...led the team with 446 kills, a .261 hitting percentage and 4.17 kills per game...became just the second player in school history to record 400+ kills in a season...broke the three-game match record for kills with 23...also totaled 149 digs and tallied 16 total blocks...named Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year, to the All-Freedom Conference First-Team, to two All-Tournament Teams and Freedom Conference Player of the Week four times.

Personal/High School: Daughter of Donna and Tom Mellon…born July 11, 1988...participated in volleyball, basketball and lacrosse in high school...named Second-Team All-Central and Honorable Mention All-Delco...member of 2006 Central League Champs...named team MVP as a senior...double major in marketing and sport management.
