Dietz joined the DeSales staff in the summer of 2025 as the graduate assistant coach and will be pursuing his MBA while with the Bulldogs.
He graduated from Chestnut Hill College in 2022 with a degree in exercise science. Following graduation from CHC, Dietz played professionally in the Frontier League from 2022-24 with the Florence Y'alls, Joliet Slammers, and the Tri-City ValleyCats.
He was also a two-way player at Chestnut Hill College for four years. Dietz earned CACC All-Conference honors three times and was Rawlings East Region First-Team twice. He is the all-time leader in hits, batting average, home runs, RBIs, slugging percentage, and doubles. On the mound, Dietz was 6-3 as a senior, tossing a league high five complete games and tied the school-record with 14 strikeouts in one game.
