Doc Neiman joins Coach Neiman’s staff for his third season.  Neiman, the son of head coach Tim Neiman, graduated from DeSales in 2011 as a sport management major, playing four years for the Bulldogs from 2007-11.
 
Neiman was named All-Freedom Conference First-Team once (2011) and Second-Team twice (2007 and 2008), while also earning Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year honors in 2007.  Currently he still ranks among the all-time leaders in a few statistical categories including at-bats (7th), runs scored (17th), hits (12th), doubles (T-25th), RBIs (t-21st), stolen bases (t-13th), and putouts (4th).
 
Following graduation he signed a professional contract with the Washington Wildthings of the Frontier League.  He also worked as the bullpen catcher for the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs from 2010-14.
 
Neiman currently serves as Player Developer for Pride of the Diamond Baseball.  He also serves as one of the coaches for their Prep teams.  Neiman spent part of the 2014 and 2015 summer coaching in the 15u World Summer League down at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.  He is currently pursuing his Masters in criminal justice at DeSales.
