DeSales University Athletics

Matt Moore joined Coach Neiman’s staff at the start of the 2018 season. He has an Associates of Science degree from the University of the State of New York and worked in the banking industry before pursuing coaching.
 
Moore earned All-EPC First-Team honors twice and Second-Team honors once while in high school at Northampton.  He finished the postgraduate program at Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, VA where he captained the baseball team.  He went on to play at NJCAA Division I Montgomery C.C. In Rockville, MD where he was an All-Region Shortstop as a freshman and an All-Region second baseman as a sophomore and spent one season with the Bulldogs in 1997 batting .358 with 53 hits, 12 doubles three home runs, and 37 RBIs helping DSU advance to the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.  During the summer he played in the Clark Griffith Collegiate Baseball League in Virginia and Maryland.
 
He also serves as one of the coaches for the Pride of the Diamond Prep teams.
