Amato joined Coach Neiman’s staff in the fall of 2022. Amato graduated from DeSales University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Sport Management.
He was a four year member of the baseball team appearing in 142 career games batting .342 with 125 runs scored, 166 hits, 25 doubles, and 76 RBIs. He had a on-base percentage of .440 with 78 walks and was 27-for-31 in stolen base attempts. He was All-MAC Freedom First-Team twice, named ABCA All-Region Third-Team once, and All-ECAC Twice in his career. Amato is ranked 14th all-time in both runs scored and hits and eighth in walks.
Outside of baseball, Amato works as Director of Business and Marketing for his family painting and epoxy company.
