Matthew manages the recruitment of prospective esports athletes, coordinates recommendations for scholarships, and handles all the social media accounts including the team’s Discord channel. His main goals as a staff member are to help the program flourish and to create a welcoming environment for students to learn, thrive, and pursue their passions. Matthew’s favorite thing about the Varsity Esports Program is the sheer enthusiasm and love for the game that all the athletes bring to every practice, competition, and discussion, regardless of whether they are varsity athletes, prospective students, or casual fans of the sport.
