Stephanie Palmieri returns for her eighth season as an assistant coach and fifth under head coach Lindsay Goeller.  She will be working directly with the goalkeepers.  Palmieri is a 2007 graduate of Lehigh University as an English major, later completing her Masters of Secondary Education also at Lehigh in 2009.
 
She served as Lehigh’s graduate assistant coach with the field hockey program from 2007-09 after playing two years on the field hockey team and four years with the softball team.  In her senior year she started all 17 games for the field hockey team in goal recording a 2.63 GAA with 120 saves.
 
Palmieri graduated from Temple University with a Doctorate in Media and Communications in January 2017. She serves as an adjunct at Temple in the Klein College of Media and Communication. She also currently serves as the Assistant Director of Lehigh Valley Summerbridge, a non-profit enrichment education program for highly motivated, low income middle school students in the Lehigh Valley. The teachers in this program are aspiring educators, many of which have attended DeSales.
