Entering the ’10 Season: Matthews enters her senior season ranked among the all-time leaders at DeSales in goals (3rd – 32), assists (5th – 11), and points (2nd – 75).

2009: Appeared in 18 games, making 18 starts…led the team in scoring with nine goals and five assists for 23 points…had four game-winning goals…scored two goals in the Freedom Conference win over Misericordia University and had a goal in the season-ending win over King’s College…tallied two assists in the win over Albright College.

2008: Started and played in all 19 games…led the team in scoring with 11 goals and four assists for 26 points…scored at least one goal in 10 games…tallied two goals in the 9-0 win over Shenandoah University.

2007: Played in 18 games, making 17 starts…ranked second on the team in scoring with 12 goals and two assists for 26 points…scored two goals in wins over Albright College and Arcadia University and had three goals in the win over Manhattanville College…named Freedom Conference Player of the Week once.

Personal/High School: Daughter of Ed and Jackie Matthews…born March 15, 1989...participated in field hockey and lacrosse in high school...named All-Area Honorable Mention in field hockey and Academic All-America in lacrosse...high school lacrosse team won Pac-10 championship three times...nursing major.
