Biography

Entering the 2010-11 Season: Hunter enters his senior season with the Bulldogs ranked 15th all-time in assists (232), 19th all-time in three-pointers made (73), and tied for 13th all-time in three-point field goal percentage (.349).

2009-10: Appeared in all 30 games, making 29 starts…ranked second on the team in scoring at 11.1 points per game…led team with 111 assists and finished the season ranked 64th in the country in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9-to-1)…also ranked second on the team with 36 steals, averaged 3.6 rebounds per game, and shot 34.6 percent from three-point land…reached double digit scoring 18 times including a career-high 27 points in the loss to Randolph-Macon College in the “Sweet 16” round of the NCAA Tournament…had 23 points and nine assists in an overtime win over Widener University…named to All-Freedom Conference Second-Team and to MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll.

2008-09: Appeared in all 31 games, making 30 starts…ranked third on the team in scoring averaging 10.5 points per game…led the team with 120 assists (3.9 APG) and 53 steals (1.7 SPG)…averaged 2.9 rebounds per game and ranked third on the team with 36 made three-pointers…shot 35.3 percent from outside the arc and was team’s best free throw shooter at 72.6 percent…named Freedom Conference Player of the Week once…recorded double digits in points 14 times…totaled a season-high seven assists three times, two of which were road wins over Freedom Conference foes…scored a season-high 22 points in a road win over Centenary College and had 20 points in home wins over Elizabethtown College and Eastern University…averaged 11.0 points in the four NCAA Tournament games, scoring 15 points in the first round win over St. Joseph’s College (NY).

2007-08 @ Lehigh University: Appeared in eight games totaling 11 minutes played.

Personal/High School: Son of Mary Hunter…born August 11, 1988…participated in basketball in high school…earned Lehigh Valley All-Conference honors twice and All-Area honors twice…led Emmaus to Lehigh Valley Conference Championship as a senior…named Morning Call Player of the Year and Express-Times Male Athlete of the Year as a senior…finished HS career with 1,398 career points…high school coach was DeSales’ graduate Andy Stephens…business management major.
