Biography

Entering the ’09-10 Season: Braswell enters his senior season ranked 13th all-time in scoring (1,139 points), 18th in field goals made (397), seventh in three-pointers made (131), 15th in three-point field goal percentage (34.1%), tied for 16th in free throws made (214), tied for 17th in rebounds (502), and 12th in double-doubles (9).

2008-09: Started and appeared in all 31 games…led the team in scoring at 16.8 points per game and ranked second in assists (77) and steals (47)…also ranked second in rebounding, pulling down 7.8 boards per game…led the team with 52 made three-pointers…registered nine double-doubles on the year, scored in double digits in 28-of-31 games, and had double digit rebounds in 10 games…named Freedom Conference Player of the Year and to All-Freedom Conference First-Team…named to D3hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region First-Team…named NABC Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year and NABC First-Team All-American…named ECAC South Region Player of the Year and to ECAC South Region First-Team…named Freedom Conference Player of the Week three times and Freedom Conference Playoffs Most Valuable Player…scored 20+ points in six of DSU’s final eight games…averaged 21.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in two Freedom Conference playoff games…averaged 20.3 points and 10.5 rebounds in the four NCAA games including a career-high 27 points and career-high tying 13 rebounds in the second round win over Ithaca College.

2007-08: Started all 27 games…ranked second on the team in scoring (13.6 PPG) and third on the team in rebounding (4.7 RPG)…shot 36.9 percent from three-point land and ranked second on the team with 41 made treys…averaged 1.0 steals per game…named to All-Freedom Conference Second-Team and to Casa Mia Holiday All-Tournament Team…scored double-digit points in 21-of-27 games…had a career-high 22 points in the road win over Manhattanville College…had 17 points and nine rebounds in a win over Cabrini College…totaled 20 points in the win over John Carroll University in Casa Mia Holiday Tournament title game.

2006-07: Appeared in 28 games, making 23 starts...ranked fourth on the team in scoring at 9.0 points per game and also averaged 4.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game...shot 34.2 percent from outside the arc (38-of-111)...named to Casa Mia Holiday Tournament All-Tournament team after scoring 14 points in the championship game win over The College of New Jersey...reached double digits 13 times including a season-high 16-point effort in the Freedom Conference championship game loss at King’s College...averaged 14 points in the two Freedom Conference playoff games and finished the season averaging 13.8 points over his last four games.
