George W. Crampton enters his ninth season with a 88-65-8 (.571) overall record and as the all-time winningest coach in men's soccer history at DeSales University. He has guided the Bulldogs to two consecutive Freedom Conference Championships as well as two consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament. In addition, DSU has made five appearances in the Freedom Conference playoffs and three appearances in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament and Crampton has been named Freedom Conference Coach of the Year twice (2004 and 2005).

DSU was ousted from the NCAA Tournament in 2005 by New Jersey City University and in 2006 by defending national champion Messiah College, but with its recent success has etched its name in both the Freedom Conference and Mid-Atlantic Region as a proven power.
