DeSales University Athletics

Franco Perinotti joined the men's and women's track & field staff during the 2025-26 season. He is a former Division 1 decathlete with a specialty in pole vault. He graduated from Parkland High School with a vault of 14’3” and a 2018 District 11 runner up. From there he pursued multi events at Bucknell University earning the schools third highest outdoor pole vault with a height of 5 meters, in addition to the third highest heptathlon performance of 4965.

Perinotti pursued semi-professional pole vault while studying at Loughborough University in the UK. He competed for Harrow Athletics Club and earned 1st place in Division B for the National Athletics League in 2024.

He has trained with several different pole vault clubs: Vertical Assault, Philadelphia Jumps Club, LoJo Vault Assault, learning many different approaches to technical training. With a strong background in multi events, Perinotti joined DeSales University as the Pole vault coach in 2025.
