Ryan James was named the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Men’s Cross Country and Track & Field in the summer of 2023. He is a 2022 graduate of La Salle University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in American History and a minor in Business Administration.
While at La Salle, he earned A-10 All-Conference honors three times, was named the Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Rookie, and an NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic All-Region. He helped the Explorers win two Atlantic 10 championships. James also earned an A-10 medal in the steeplechase and is the current LaSalle record in the men's steeplechase.
In high school James was a PA State Champion in the boys indoor DMR, a four-time state medalist, and was a HS All-American in the indoor 4xMile.
Ryan has worked as a Museum Educator at the Colonial Pennsylvania Farmstead with working as a public engagement at the Independent Seaport Museum in Philadelphia. He came back to school to get his Masters in Department of Homeland Security Counter Terrorism Investigations.
