Biography

Entering the ’11 Season:  Petrilla enters her senior season ranked 18th all-time in at-bats (321), 15th all-time in hits (105), 13th all-time in doubles (24), 16th in slugging percentage (.452), fourth in ERA (2.43), tied for fourth in saves (1), nine in appearances (45), and first in relief appearances (36).

2011 Season:  One of four players to start and play in all 39 games…batted .336 with 38 hits, 11 runs scored, four doubles, and 14 RBIs…walked 12 times and struck out just four times in 128 plate appearances, recording a .397 on-base percentage…also posted a 4-2 record with a 2.74 ERA including two complete-games in 38.1 innings pitched…opponent’s batted just .203 off her…named to All-Freedom Conference Second-Team and to the Capital One Academic Third-Team…named to the MAC Spring Academic Honor Roll…had nine multi-hit games…batted .500 (6-for-12) in the four ECAC Tournament Games…went 4-for-5 with two RBIs in the doubleheader vs. King’s College…pitched three scoreless innings of relief in wins over both Delaware valley College and York College (PA).

2010 Season:  Appeared in all 49 games, making 48 starts…batted .354 with a school-record 18 doubles, four home runs, and 23 RBIs…had a .404 on-base percentage with 14 walks and had a .990 fielding percentage…had 15 multi-hit games…on the mound posted a 7-3 record with a 2.15 ERA in 91 innings pitched…set school-record with 21 relief appearances…had three complete games and struck out 21, while walking just 38…was 4-for-6 with five RBI’s in the doubleheader at York College…earned a complete-game win over Misericordia in the ECAC Tournament in mid-May...named to MAC Spring Academic Honor Roll…named Freedom Conference Hitter of the Week once…named to CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Third-Team…named to All-Freedom Conference Second-Team and NFCA East Region Third-Team.

2009 Season:  Appeared in 22 games, making 14 starts…batted .205 with nine hits and four runs scored…also made six appearances and one start on the mound posting a 1-2 record with a 3.23 ERA in 17.1 innings pitched…had a .974 fielding percentage with two errors in 76 chances…earned first career win in the circle over Hope International allowing no earned runs in 5.1 innings pitched in relief…had three hits in win over Viterbo University.

Personal & High School:  Daughter of Jane and John Petrilla…participated in tennis and softball in high school…named tennis Most Valuable Player three times and First-Team All-Conference in softball once…member of Dean’s List five times…history/secondary education major.
