McTamney joins the softball coaching staff in the summer of 2022 as the graduate assistant. She hails from Philadelphia, PA and having graduated from Ursinus College with a BS in Health and Exercise Physiology with a teaching concentration.

McTamney was a four-year pitcher for the Bears earning All-Centennial honors as a freshman and NFCA Scholar All-American honors as a junior and senior. She also served as the team captain and was named All-Sportsmanship.

She will be pursuing her Masters of Education in special education at DeSales.
