Entering the 2015 Season:  Gessner enters her junior ranked among the all-time leaders doubles (T-17^th – 22), slugging percentage (16^th - .488), being hit by pitch (T-9^th – 4), and assists (16^th – 156).

2014 Season:  Named to All-Freedom Conference Second-Team and Spring Academic Honor Roll…one of six players to start and play in all 31 games…batted .321 with 34 hits, 19 runs scored, a team-high tying nine doubles, three home runs, and 12 RBIs…recorded nine multi-hit games including a four hit game in the game two win over Delaware Valley College…all three home runs came during Freedom Conference play…committed just six errors for a .952 fielding percentage at shortstop.

2013 Season:  Named Honorable-Mention All-Freedom Conference…One of four players to play and start all 43 games…batted .329 with a team-high tying 13 doubles and three home runs…knocked in 22 runs and scored a team-high 35 runs…had a .401 on-base percentage…posted a .900 fielding percentage at shortstop…had 12 multi-hit games including a 4-for-5 effort vs. Muhlenberg College…went 3-for-4 with four RBI’s in game two of a doubleheader vs. Misericordia University…went 6-for-9 with three runs scored and five RBIs in the three Freedom Conference playoff games…had two hits and an RBI in the win over Roger Williams in the NCAA Tournament.

Personal/High School:  Daughter of Cheryl and John Gessner…participated in softball in high school…named Honorable-Mention All-Conference once…high school team won state championship in 2012 and was runner-up in 2011…member of Dean’s List…medical studies major.
