Entering the ’08 season: Co-captain…enters her senior year ranked 10^th all-time in three-point shooting percentage (30.5%) and 17^th in three-point field goal attempts (105).

2007-08: Appeared in all 30 games off the bench…averaged 3.9 points per game and 3.1 rebounds per game…shot a team-best 60.0% percent (45-for-75) from the field and 71.1 percent (27-of-38) from the free throw line...had 14 points on a perfect shooting night from the field (5-for-5) and the charity stripe (4-for-4) in a win over King’s College…tallied 13 points in a win over Manhattanville College.

2006-07: Started and played in all 26 games...averaged 4.2 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game...ranked fourth on the team with 10 made three-pointers and led the team with 15 blocked shots...scored in double digits twice.

2005-06: Appeared in all 28 games, making 25 starts...ranked fourth on the team in scoring (8.7 PPG) and ranked third on the team in rebounding (4.8 RPG)...led DSU with 18 blocked shots...shot 32.8 percent (22-of-67) from three-point land and 70.9 percent (61-of-86) from the charity stripe...reached double digits in scoring 10 times and had a season-high 27 points in a win over FDU-Florham...also scored 23 points in a win over Alvernia on 10-of-14 shooting.

Personal & High School: Born October 5, 1987...daughter of Christine and Tom Sovak…participated in basketball in high school...totaled 700 points and 900 rebounds in HS...two-time member of Section 9 All-Section team and three-time member of Section 9 All-League team...named to Times-Herald Record All-Star team twice...elementary/early childhood education major.
