Biography

Entering the ’08 season: Co-captain…enters her senior year ranked among the all-time leaders in several statistical categories including points (8th – 1,338), points per game (4th – 15.9), field goal attempts (9th – 1,175), field goals made (9th – 494), three-point field goal attempts (2nd – 466), three-point field goals made (2nd – 171), three-point field goal percentage (3rd – 36.7%), free throw percentage (11th – 75.2%), assists (13th – 229), steals (10th – 200).

2007-08: Started and played in all 30 games…led the team in scoring (19.3 PPG), steals (90 – 3.0 SPG), and three-pointers made (74) and shooting percentage (43.5%)…also averaged 2.7 assists per game and shot 81.9 percent from the charity stripe…list of accolades is endless including being named a Jostens Trophy Finalist, the Freedom Conference Player of the Year, named to the All-Freedom Conference First-Team, named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District First-Team, Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Association Player of the Year, ECAC South Region Player of the Year and First-Team, D3hoops.com Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year and First-Team, D3hoops.com Second-Team All-American, WBCA Mid-Altantic Region First-Team, WBCA Honorable Mention All-American, LVAIAW Basketball Player of the Year, and the DeSales University Female Athlete of the Year…also named Freedom Conference Player of the Week six times, named the Freedom Conference Playoffs Most Valuable Player, named Starter’s Pub Tip-Off Tournament Most Valuable Player, and named to MASCAC Winter Academic Honor Roll…reached double digit points in 28-of-30 games, had three 30+ point games and 14 20+ point games…tied the school-record with seven made three-pointers in the win over William Paterson University…scored a season-high 34 points in a road win over Wesley College, tallied 33 points on 12-of-19 shooting in a road win over King’s College, had 29 points on 12-of-15 shooting in a win over FDU-Florham, and had 26 points in the Freedom Conference championship game win over FDU-Florham and the win over Salem State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

2006-07: Started and appeared in all 26 games...ranked second on the team in scoring at 14.5 points per game and led the team with 47 made three-pointers...ranked second on the team with 75 assists and led the team with 50 steals...averaged 3.8 rebounds per game and 73.2 percent from the free throw line...scored double digits in 20-of-26 games...scored 24 points in each meeting with Scranton and had 25 in the win over Richard Stockton College...named to Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball Team of the Month (January)...named to Starters Tip-off All-Tournament Team and named to All-Freedom Conference Second-Team...also honored on MASCAC Winter Academic Honor Roll.

2005-06: Appeared in all 28 games, making 27 starts...ranked second on the team in scoring (13.6 PPG), second in assists (2.61 APG), second in steals (2.14 SPG) and second in blocked shots (11)...led team with 50 made three-pointers and shot 32.7 percent from long range (50-of-153)...named the Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year and to the All-Freedom Conference Second-Team...earned Freedom Conference Player of the Week honors once...reached double digits in scoring 20 times...tied the single-game record with 37 points in a win over Wilkes University...dished out a season-high 10 assists in a win over FDU-Florham.

Personal/High School: Born September 9, 1986...daughter of Michael and Barbara Burke…participated in basketball and volleyball in HS...named 1st-Team All-Catholic League as both a junior and a senior...member of Dean’s List every semester...mathematics/secondary education major.
