Heather Kemp

Kemp returns to the sidelines for her second year after leading the Bulldogs to a 7-8-3 record in her first season in 2013.  Kemp is a graduate of Messiah College in 2008 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sport & Exercise Science and later graduated from Millersville University in 2012 with M. Ed. in sports management with a concentration in athletic coaching.

Kemp was a two-year starter and four-year member of the Messiah College women’s soccer team from 2004-08 where she helped guide the Falcons to four straight Final Four appearances in which Messiah won the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2005 (Kemp’s sophomore year) and finished as the National Runners-up in Kemp’s senior season (2007).  She also helped guide the Falcons to three Commonwealth Conference Championships in her four years.

Following her graduation from Messiah, Kemp went on to coach the Donegal High School women’s soccer team, guiding DHS to back-to-back PIAA AA State Championships in 2009 and 2010.  She moved on from Donegal in 2011 to become an assistant coach at Messiah College, where the Falcons once again won the NCAA Division III National Championship and the Commonwealth Conference Championship and spent the 2012 season as an assistant coach and strength and conditioning/operations assistant at nearby Muhlenberg College.  Kemp has also worked as the program director at Soccer Shots, LLC, a sport instruction business, from 2010-12.

Kemp hails locally from Allentown, PA where she attended Emmaus High School competing on the women’s soccer team winning the conference championship all four years she was on the team.
