Biography

Entering the 2014 Season:  Banos enters her senior season ranked 16th all-time with 89 career blocks assists.

2013 Season:  Appeared in 30-of-34 matches…ranked fifth on the team with 155 kills and hit .134…also ranked tied for third on the team with 24 service aces and was second on the team with 66 total blocks (0.65 BPS)…had a season-high 12 kills in the road win over Moravian College…had 11 kills vs. Wilkes University during the regular season and was outstanding vs. the Colonels in the Freedom Conference Tournament with nine kills, no errors, and six blocks.

2012 Season:  Appeared in only five sets due to injury…had eight kills and hit .227 in limited action.

2011-12 Season:  Appeared in 18 matches…totaled 45 kills and a .103 hitting percentage…finished with 26 total blocks (0.62 BPS)…recorded five blocks in a match twice, wins over FDU-Florham and Neumann University…in outdoor track finished 13th at the MAC Championships in the 400-meter hurdles (1:18.33)…top times in outdoor track were 16.41 (100-meters), 22.49 (100-meter hurdles), 34.37 (200-meters), and 1:18.33 (400-meter hurdles).

Personal/High School:  Daughter of Linda and Jim Banos…participated in volleyball and track & field in high school…member of Dean’s List…double major in biochemistry and biology.
