Morghan Shoemaker

Shoemaker joined Coach Zabinski's staff in the summer of 2022 as a volunteer assistant coach. She graduated cum laude from DeSales in 2020 with a bachelor of science in forensic psychology, with a minor in criminal justice. Shoemaker then earned Masters' in criminal justice from Arizona State University in 2022, graduating with a 4.00 GPA and finished her graduate certificate in digital forensics from DeSales.

Shoemaker was four-year starter for the Bulldogs from 2016-19 where she earned All-MAC Freedom honors four times including First-Team twice and Second-Team twice. She won MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year and ECAC Metro Region Freshman of the Year honors. She was also named All-ECAC Metro Region once and was twice AVCA Honorable-Mention All-Region.

Shoemaker finished her career with 1,232 kills, a .294 hitting percentage, and 359 total blocks, including a school-record 317 block assists following graduation.  She was also named to the MAC Fall Academic Honor Roll three times.

She spent one season as an assistant coach with Muhlenberg College during the 2021 season.

Shoemaker currently lives in Breinigsville, PA and works full-time under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) doing digital forensics and network intrusion analysis.
