Trey Hunter

Trey Hunter

Hunter was named the graduate assistant coach for volleyball in August, 2020. Hunter graduated with academic distinction from Cardinal Stritch University with a degree in Sports Science and Management.

Hunter spent four years competing collegiately, two years at Graceland University, and two years at Cardinal Stritch University. Hunter was a four year starter, two-time CCAC/HOAC All Conference player, and a 2020 AVCA All-American.

In Hunter’s four year career, he had a total of 703 kills, and averaged 1.14 blocks per set. In his final season at Cardinal Stritch, Hunter was the national leader in hitting percentage, top 5 in the nation for blocks per set, and his team was ranked #6 nationally by the end of the season. Hunter also worked four years for Gold Medal Squared Volleyball, which was run by Mike Wall, the current assistant coach for the U.S. Men’s Olympic team.

Hunter will be pursuing his MBA at DeSales University.
