Ruggiero joined the volleyball staff in the summer of 2026 having graduated Cum Laude from Farleigh Dickinson University (Metropolitan campus) with a degree in business administration.

She helped FDU with the Northeast Conference Championship and advance to the NCAA Division I Tournament in 2022 for the first time in program history. They advanced to play Texas, who eventually won the National Championship. Ruggiero finished her career with 611 kills.

She will be pursuing her MBA in Project Management.
