DeSales University Athletics

Michelle Winter joined DeSales Athletic Training staff full time in Fall 2021 after working per diem and part time here since 2006. She was then named head athletic trainer Fall 2023.

Michelle received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University in 1993 and was certified by NATA Board of Certification in 1994.

Michelle was previously employed by OAA Orthopedic Specialists from 1994-2010. During that time she served as a fitness instructor and assistant in the Physical Therapy department while also contracted as the head athletic trainer at Northern Lehigh High School. Later she served as a certified athletic trainer/orthopedic technician in the Sports Medicine Institute. During that time she was the secretary of the OAA Sports Medicine Foundation and a member of the Women’s Center for Sports Medicine.

Michelle currently resides in Salisbury Township, Allentown, with husband Jeff and three sons Casey, Ethan, and Reilly.

Michelle enjoys weight training, walking her dog Murphy, reading, and is a member of the choir at St. Thomas More Church in Allentown.
