Morrissey was outstanding in the circle in her two starts last week, posting a 1-1 record with a 1.08 ERA and 19 strikeouts in 13 innings pitched.  On Saturday she tossed a three-hit shutout in the win over Wilkes, striking out nine and walking none.  On Sunday she was the hard-luck loser, pitching six innings in a 2-0 loss to Lebanon Valley College in which she scattered six hits, allowed two runs, and also struck out nine.  On the season Morrissey is now 3-4 overall with a 2.30 ERA.
