Bulldogs fall to Neumann College

Aston, PA (April 10, 2008) - The DeSales University men's tennis team continued its losing skid, falling to Neumann College, 9-0, in a non-conference match on a picture perfect day for tennis.

The loss drops the Bulldogs to 1-7 overall, while Neumann improves to 9-3 overall with the win. Junior Jake Hoover (Morrisville, PA/Notre Dame) and sophomore Dan Bullen (Matawan, NJ/St. John Vranney) played well at the 1^st doubles position despite falling 8-4. In singles action Hoover again played well at the #1 spot falling to Chris Brown 6-2, 6-2. Sophomore Seth Conklin (Valencia, PA/Aquinas Academy) also played well for DeSales at the 6^th singles position, losing 6-1, 6-4 to Barry Harvey.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, April 12th at 1:00 pm when they journey to FDU-Florham for a Freedom Conference match.
