Men’s Lacrosse falls at Lycoming, 20-3

Sophomore Matthew Kruszewski had one goal in the loss at Lycoming on Saturday.

Williamsport, PA (April 19, 2008) – The DeSales University men's lacrosse team dropped an MAC Conference game on Saturday afternoon falling at Lycoming College, 20-3.
 
        The Bulldogs (6-8, 1-4 MAC) fell behind early and never recovered. DSU trailed 14-2 at the half and scored just one second half goal in the loss. LC (9-4, 4-1 MAC) won 16-of-18 first-half face-offs and cruised to the win the second half.
 
        Scoring for the Bulldogs was junior Matthew Brancaccio (Greenvale, NY/North Shore), sophomore Matthew Kruszewski (Atco, NJ/Winslow Township) and freshman Tim Donnelly (Pittsburgh, PA/Central Catholic). Brancaccio added two assists and sophomore Jarryd Stamatelos (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) made five saves in between the pipes and seniors Tom Carr (Atco, NJ/Paul VI) and Matt Pennie (Canton, MA/Canton) each had three ground balls in the loss.
 
        The Bulldogs will look to shake this game off and will return to action on Wednesday, April 23rd when they travel to Manhattanville College for an MAC Conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
