Center Valley, PA (April 21, 2008) - The DeSales University men's tennis team could not repeat the success of its last match, falling to Ursinus College 9-0 on a windy Monday afternoon.

    
    The Bulldogs fall to 2-8 overall on the season.  Junior Jake Hoover (Morrisville, PA/Notre Dame) played well at the 1^st singles position in the loss. Hoover was able to split the first two sets before falling in the third, losing 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 to Jason Zerbe in a hard fought match. Sophomore Seth Conklin (Valencia, PA/Aquinas Academy) also played well for DeSales at the 5^th singles position, although he lost 6-3, 6-4 to Joseph Ellwood.

 

    The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday, April 23rd at 3:00 pm when they welcome PSU-Berks to Center Valley for a non-conference match.
