St. Joseph) hit a solo homer, his second in as many games, to lead of the fourth inning and junior Derek Moyer (Harleysville, PA/Souderton) hit his team-leading third home run, a solo shot with one out in the ninth inning to post the final margin.

Overall the Bulldogs (7-5 overall) had eight hits and did not commit an error in the win. Swarthmore (7-6 overall) finished with six hits and committed three errors leading to one DSU run. Senior Matt Connors (Sewell, NJ/Washington Township) had two hits and scored twice, Hess drove in two run and walked three times, Bianca also drove in two runs to lead the bat attack.

Junior Mark Reilly (Cream Ridge, NJ/Notre Dame) pitched well once again, earning his first win of the season going 5.2 innings allowing just five hits and striking out seven. Freshman Jack Kavetski (Plymouth Meeting, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh) and senior Andrew Kulhamer (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) combined to toss 3.1 innings of one-hit relief in the win.
