Bulldogs Fall to Misericordia, 9-0, in Freedom Conference Match

Junior Seth Conklin played well despite the loss at the No. 5 singles position on Wednesday.

Center Valley, PA (March 25, 2009) - The DeSales University men's tennis team dropped its second straight match falling to Misericordia University, 9-0, in the Freedom Conference opener for both teams on Wednesday afternoon.

The loss drops DeSales to 2-2 overall and 0-1 in the Freedom, while the Cougars improve to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the Freedom. Junior Seth Conklin (Valencia, PA/Aquinas Academy) played very well in the loss falling at the No. 5 singles position, 6-3, 6-4.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, March 28^th when they travel to Manhattanville College for a Freedom Conference match beginning at 1:00 pm.
