Bulldogs Drop Third Straight, 9-0 at Manhattanville

Sophomore Michael Cejovic fell 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 1 singles spot on Saturday.

Purchase, NY (March 28, 2009) - The DeSales University men's tennis team dropped its third straight match falling to Manhattanville College, 9-0, in a Freedom Conference match on Saturday afternoon.

The loss drops DeSales to 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the Freedom, while the Valiants improve to 8-4 overall and 2-0 in the Freedom. Sophomore Michael Cejovic (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains) fell at the No. 1 singles and doubles positions, 8-4 at doubles with fellow freshman Tom Allen (York, PA/York Catholic) and 6-1, 6-0 in singles play.

DSU returns to action on Sunday afternoon when they host Neumann College in a non-conference match beginning at 1:00 pm.
