Bulldogs Fall to Devils, 8-1, in Freedom Match

Junior Dan Bullen teamed with sophomore Joe Sulpizio to earn a win at the No. 2 doubles position.

Center Valley, PA (April 14, 2009) - The DeSales University men's tennis team dropped its eighth straight decision falling to FDU-Florham in a Freedom Conference match, 8-1, indoors on Tuesday afternoon.

The Bulldogs fall to 2-8 overall and 0-6 in Freedom, while the Devils improve to 2-9 overall and 1-4 in the Freedom. The lone winners on Tuesday afternoon were junior Dan Bullen (Matawan, NJ/St. John Vianney) and sophomore Joe Sulpizio (Bath, PA/Notre Dame) who earned an 8-3 win at the No. 2 doubles position.

The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, April 16^th when they travel to Ursinus College for a non-conference match beginning at 4:00 pm.
