Men’s Tennis falls at King’s, 7-2

Freshman Tom Allen earned a win at the No. 2 singles spot on Thursday afternoon.

Wilkes-Barre, PA (April 2, 2009) - The DeSales University men's tennis team dropped its fourth straight decision falling to King's College, 7-2, in a Freedom Conference match on Thursday afternoon.

The loss drops the Bulldogs to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in the Freedom. Junior Seth Conklin (Valencia, PA/Aquinas Academy) and freshman Timothy Golden (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview) earned a win at No. 3 doubles, 8-5, and freshman Tom Allen (Matawan, NJ/St. John Vianney) had a win at the No. 2 singles spot, 7-5, 6-3, to lead DeSales in the loss.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, April 4^th when they host Wilkes University in another Freedom Conference match beginning at 1:00 pm.
