Men’s Tennis Falls 9-0 at Eastern

Junior Seth Conklin lost in three sets at the No. 5 singles spot on Thursday.

St. David's, PA (April 9, 2009) - The DeSales University men's tennis team fell once again, dropping a 9-0 decision at Eastern University in a Freedom Conference match on Thursday afternoon.

The loss drops the Bulldogs to 2-7 overall and 0-5 in the Freedom, while the Eagles improve to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in the Freedom. Junior Seth Conklin (Valencia, PA/Aquinas Academy) won the first set in his singles match at the No. 5 spot but eventually fell, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 as the closest Bulldog to earn a point.

DeSales gets back into action on Saturday, April 11^th when they travel to PSU-Berks for a non-conference match beginning at 1:00 pm.
