Center Valley, PA (October 16, 2010) – Freshman Brady Walsh (Leesport, PA/Schuylkill Valley) tallied her 12th goal of the season but was the only bright spot on Saturday afternoon as the DeSales University women's soccer team fell to Eastern University, 7-1, in a Freedom Conference game.

The Bulldogs (5-9-1, 0-3-1 Freedom) were out-shot, 24-11, and out-cornered 7-3 in the loss as Eastern improves to 10-3-1 overall and a perfect 4-0 in Freedom Conference play.

The Eagles took a 3-0 lead in the first half scoring all three goals in the 12 minutes of the game. The lead swelled to 6-0 before Walsh got DSU on the board with an unassisted goal at the 79:25 mark. Eastern provided the final margin with a goal with nine seconds left.

The Bulldogs will look to bounce back on Tuesday, October 19th when they host Misericordia University in another Freedom Conference game beginning at 3:00 pm.
