BOX SCORE
Dallas, PA (April 16, 2010) – Freshman David Drinks (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) tossed his first career complete-game and junior Carson Slonaker (East Greenville, PA/The Perkiomen School) had three hits and knocked in four runs leading the DeSales University baseball team past Misericordia University, 13-3, in a Freedom Conference game on Friday afternoon.

DSU tied it in the top of the third inning on a two-RBI single from senior Andrew Feher (Riegelsville, PA/Palisades), but again fell behind in the fourth when MU scored a solo run on an RBI groundout to lead, 3-2.
DeSales took control beginning in the fifth inning when it plated four runs on a sacrifice fly from senior Derek Moyer (Harleysville, PA/Souderton), an RBI single from sophomore Jason Hadinger (Northampton, PA/Allentown Central Catholic), and a two-RBI double from Slonaker. The Bulldogs scored in each of the final five innings including three times in the eighth inning on another two-RBI base hit from Slonaker.
In the end 10 Bulldogs registered a hit and seven players had an RBI in the win. Junior Mike Newland (Frenchtown, PA/Delaware Valley) had two hits and scored twice, sophomore Jack Kavetski (Plymouth Meeting, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh) was 3-for-4 with three runs scored, Moyer had two hits and two RBIs, Feher finished with two hits and two RBIs, Hadinger totaled two hits, two runs scored, and two RBIs, and freshman Chris Zucchi (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) had four hits to lead the 21-hit attack.
