Center Valley, PA (September 21, 2011) – A scoreless game through the first 71 minutes was broken open in the 72nd minute as Lebanon Valley College scored three goals in a span of 13 minutes to record a 3-0 win over the DeSales University women's soccer team in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bulldogs (1-6) hung on tight for most of the game, keeping the Flying Dutchmen (6-2) off the scoreboard for the entire first half and most of the second half before LVC finally broke through with a goal at the 71:53 mark when Sara Drabenstadt took control of a rebounded shot from Nicole Snyder off a corner kick and fired it into the net.

LVC got its insurance goal just over four minutes later in the 77th minute when Snyder charged a shot off the crossbar off the foot of teammate Heather Tran and narrowly beat a sliding Bulldog goalkeeper to the ball, blasting a shot into the wide open net to make it 2-0.  Tran then provided the final margin heading in a cross from Jess Kleeschulte at the 84:34 mark for Lebanon Valley.

Senior Melissa Millili made five saves for DeSales in between the pipes.  The Bulldogs also had a team save when sophomore Lydia Younger stopped a shot in front of the net midway through the first half after Millili was caught outside the goal mouth helping keep the game scoreless at the time.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday when they host Alvernia University in a non-conference game on homecoming beginning at 1:00 pm.
